▲▲▲This show is probably one of my favorite ones, personally. Having some James Blake live recordings here in studio and of course the announced 74 Miles Away session which was really good make this show a winner.
I heard a lotta good music this week, to start with Phony Ppl from Brooklyn, NY, amazing and fresh. Tyler The Creator is so hyped right now, sounds really good. New on Jazzman, it’s Jef Gilson, amazing record. Brainfeeder is probably going for gold this year, for best label of the year… releasing a great album by Thundercat, very good bass player and good man, this track i played is beautiful. Some classics too with Fugees, Kool & The Gang and more… New Lunice on Lucky Me, thanks for that, southern vibes with Luisito Quintero and Guillermo Carbon Ronderos… Ben Westbeech aka Breach remix for Photek. Great techno joint by Cottam, Daphni up in here, classic house with Detroit Experiment and end with the great Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou… Enjoy the show.

Our homeboy Mika aka Son Of Kick is set to release his new EP ”Playing The Villain” on MUTI Music; coming out on April 25th, the man has been working on his “psychostep” a lot lately. The artwork is again another killer design by Grems.
