Celebrating Gilles‘ first project as Executive Producer; I’ve listened to it a couple of times and there’s really good material on there. This is really something coming from the heart and glad he made it. Big up Gilles! Get the album, it’s out now on Brownswood Recordings of course.

Straight from Seattle, the rapper sounds like Digable Planets. Interesting, Shabazz Palaces has no myspace, and the cover comes with a patch. Looking forward to more, this video is a killer though.
Just an excellent and diverse album; Julien Dyne’s “Pins & Digits” album on FTC/BBE, straight from New Zealand. He’s been around for some time but I think this album might take him to another level.
