Anattitude x Supafly 18.10.

Wow, that was a cool night. Le Tavernier hosted the Anattitude Magazine release party; together with the Supafly girls they built an amazing line-up with as headliner non other than Yarah Bravo. It all started quite early for me, had to be there for Yarah’s soundcheck around 5pm, checked some of Lizairo’s photos upstairs, saw half a piece of Koor’s art haha, then run to the local radiostation to do the Back To Niceness show, then grab some delicious food Nadia of the Supafly girls made; checked my girl Fatoosan’s first steps into the world of deejays that actually mix records ;-) she did a great job. Her partner Miki did a nice and open set right before A Cat Called Fritz’ DJ Lyrik. I’ve heard good music from the start, and people loved it. Then came the live acts with Beatdrunx, always raw and hard and definitely coming strong live; it’s pure energy and they got flows like water. Yarah Bravo was up next, the headliner for the night, and she kidnapped me to be her deejay for tonite; It was mostly freestyle but we enjoyed it, and from what I saw the crowd enjoyed it too. The energy was really present last night, I think Yarah has a great stage presence and that’s what you need, even if you go wrong on stage you will still get enough love from the crowd… I even think some boys fell in love with the woman haha… The afterparty was insane, people going wild on all kinds of music, french hiphop, classics, underground bangers, man, I forgot what I spun, I was dead from the night before… Anyway, I think it was a good one, the first one but probably not the last one. Much respect to all the ladies and their motivation all the way… Jee Nice for being so humble and organised, her magazine has a killer lay-out, Jo Bee for rippin’ the mic and being crazy, just kiddin’…, Fatoosan & Miki for the music, Lizairo for the pics upstairs and Koor for his artwork outside, Nadia & Lazydazy for the organisation overall, and all the artists on the flyer. Hakim for filming while I was on stage. And of course you and you the crowd, without you no party… Merci beaucoup!
